Shirakabako (Japanese: 白樺湖) is a reservoir at the height of 1416 meters above sea level, it is located in Nagano Prefecture (長野県), Japan. Shirakabako is a popular tourist attraction, you can do rowing and camping in summer and skiing in winter, the snowscape here shouldn’t be missed.
Snowfall is common in Nagano, perhaps the locals hate snowing, but Choumeizai finds it so romantic.
The ducks seem frozen by the snowfall, but when Choumeizai gets a little bit closer, all of them fly away immediately.
Although there are only black and white in this world, the scenery is still incredibly beautiful, it looks like an ink and wash painting, mysterious and surreal.
