Amanohashidate (Japanese: 天橋立) is located in Miyazu Bay (宮津灣) of northern Kyoto Prefecture (京都府), Japan. Since Amanohashidate is next to the Sea of Japan, the seafood here is excellent, Choumeizai has eaten a delicious seafood bowl here.
The sashimi doesn’t look vivid, but tastes incredibly fresh and juicy, you can’t judge the food by its color.
The granny of the shop has already mixed the wasabi with the soya sauce, very considerate, but the sashimi is so fresh, you don’t need to put a lot of wasabi.
The miso soup is a bit salty but smells good, the magic is the local seaweed.
If you want to eat something cooked and hot, Choumeizai recommends a meal set name Hashidate (橋立定食), the fish fillet is thick and juicy, the crispy coating seals the fish stock perfectly, so yummy.
