This hotel is located at the upper reaches of ‘River Kwai’ (Khwae Yai River; Thai: แม่น้ำแควใหญ่), which is surrounded by brushy jungle, you need to take a speedboat to get there. The hotel is called ‘Jungle raft’ and is actually built on a raft, as its name suggests.
The hotel doesn’t have electricity, so there is a small laser point attached to the keychain, better than nothing. The room is not luxurious but cleaner than Choumeizai expects, it also has a flush toilet, don’t worry.
Each room has its own balcony, you can take a nap on the hammock if you have mosquito repellent.
The ‘Thai cuisines’ provided by the hotel are so different, they are not spicy and taste like Chinese food.
The hotel also has a pub and massage parlor, the price is reasonable, good places to chill out.
Flower pots are everywhere, which make the hotel look like a floating garden. On the other hand, hotel guests can also swim in the river, but the current is quite strong, everyone needs to wear a life jacket.
After dark, the staff will light up all Kerosene lamps, looking so romantic.
The hotel will have a Mon Dance show every night, the Mon music sounds like Chinese music while the dance looks so India. Although Choumeizai doesn’t understand the content, but the performance is still excellent.
