Kinosaki Onsen (Japanese: 城崎温泉) is located in Hyōgo Prefecture (兵庫県) of Japan. With over 1,300 years of history, Kinosaki Onsen is listed as ‘The most famous 100 Onsen in Japan’, which is a popular tourist attraction in Kansai (関西) region.
There are 7 distinctive hot spring bathhouses in Kinosaki Onsen, which are within walking distance of each other, very convenient. Goshonoyu (御所の湯) is amongst the biggest of the 7 hot spring bathhouses, which is also the most popular bathhouse in Kinosaki Onsen.
Every bathhouse has its own lounge which provides free drinking water, very considerate.
The town streets are filled with tourists who wear yukata of various colors and prints, looks so interesting.
Tourists can make Onsen eggs in Yakushi Izugen (藥師泉源), it is said that you can live longer after you those Onsen eggs.
If you want to enjoy the Onsens peacefully, it is better to visit at around 6 to 7pm, since most of the tourists rest in the hotel, there are only very few people going around.
