Zhongba Grand Canyon (Chinese: 中垻大峡谷) is located in Shiquan (石泉) County, Shaanxi (陜西) Province, China. The canyon is part of the Han River (漢水), the longest tributary of the Yangtze (長江) in central China, which has a length of around 1,500 kilometer.
There are several cemented walkways in the canyon, at the end of the walkways there is a cable car station, tourists can take cable cars back to the main entrance if they don’t want to walk.
There is a small museum next to the cable car station, which exhibits some antiques such as old cameras and old furniture. Choumeizai doesn’t know how these things relate to the canyon.
Zhongba Grand Canyon is well known for its beautiful scenery, especially in spring.
There is no designated scenic spot in the canyon since the beauty is everywhere, the best way to travel is walking slowly.
Han River gave its name to the Han (漢) dynasty and, through it, to the Han Chinese, the dominant ethnicity in China and the most populous ethnic group in the world.
Besides the ‘big’ scenery, the ‘small’ scene is also a must-see, Choumeizai witnesses a big dragonfly eating another insect, as if watching a live documentary.
Yingbin Waterfall (迎賓瀑) is not too far from the main entrance. The waterfall is so magnificent that it attracts many tourists to take photos with it.
