Wuxuhai (Chinese: 五須海) is located in the northern part of Jiulong (九龍) County, Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (Tibetan: དཀར་མཛེས་བོད་རིགས་རང་སྐྱོང་ཁུལ།), Sichuan (四川) Province, China. Wuxuhai is surrounded by lush forest, the scenery is primitive and beautiful.
Wuxuhai is very remote and there are not many tourists, so the air is quiet and fresh, it is dubbed as ‘Mirror of the Fairy’ by the locals.
Usnea is a genus of grayish-green fruticose lichens that grow like leafless mini-shrubs or tassels anchored on bark or twigs.
Usnea grows all over the world, it is commonly called old man's beard, beard lichen, or beard moss.
Jiulong County is located in southeastern Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the lowest altitude of the mountain is 1,440 meters while the highest one is 6010 meters, it has long been the hub between Sichuan Province and Yunnan Province.
At the other end of Wuxuhai is a big meadow. There are no people on the meadow, only some horses and yaks. The animals are very shy, they walk away when they see Choumeizai.
There is an abandoned Tibetan village on the meadow, which looks a bit spooky.
Choumeizai is very lucky, he finds a yak horn on the ground, a free souvenir of this wonderful journey.
