Wuxuhai (Chinese: 五須海) is located in the northern part of Jiulong (九龍) County, Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (Tibetan: དཀར་མཛེས་བོད་རིགས་རང་སྐྱོང་ཁུལ།), Sichuan (四川) Province, China.Wu Xuhai is known for its beauty, dubbed as ‘Mirror of the Fairy’ by the locals.
Wuxuhai is surrounded by lush forest and a big meadow. Horses walk and graze freely on the meadow, like a fairyland.
There is a Tibetan village at the edge of the meadow, cooking smoke is everywhere, also a beautiful picture.
Wuxuhai is a lake with an elevation of 3,500 meters, it is 1,200 meters long and 600 meters wide.
Usnea grows all over the world, it is commonly called old man's beard, beard lichen, or beard moss.
There is a trail around Wuxuhai. The scenery along the way is beautiful. Although you can ride horses, Choumeizai still recommends walking.
Wuxuhai is very remote and there are not many tourists, so the air is quiet and fresh.
Jiulong County is located in southeastern Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the lowest altitude of the mountain is 1,440 meters while the highest one is 6010 meters, it has long been the hub between Sichuan Province and Yunnan Province.
