There is a small natural hot spring next to Ba-yien Village (Chinese: 八煙聚落) in New Taipei City of Taiwan; the location is desolate, so the scenery is still natural and wild.
Walking from Ba-yien Village around 5 minutes you can reach Sulfur Valley, the air is full of the smell of sulfur, Choumeizai can even feel the vibration on the ground, like it is going to erupt at any time.
Sulfur Creek(Chinese: 磺溪) is just a bit down from the Sulfur Valley, the water of the creek is natural hot spring water, which is extremely clean and clear.
Walking along the trail, you will see a big pond, it is Wild creek hot spring, although it is blocked by railing, someone still managed to get in to enjoy the free hot spring.
The rocks in the river are dyed yellow by the water with rich sulphuric, look like gold bricks.
Taiwan is not big, but it has many unexpectedly beautiful sceneries, you can find them out if you pay more attention.
