Ting Lung Chau is largely uninhabited and does not have many tourists, so its nature is well preserved, most of the island is covered by greenery, beautiful and refreshing.
The terrain of the island is roughly flat, and the trails are paved with cement, good for families.
Hen Hill(Chinese: 雞乸石) is located between Nam Tong Pier(Chinese: 南堂碼頭) and Fat Tong Mun Pier(Chinese: 佛堂門碼頭), you can reach there by walking a short distance of mountain trail.
From different directions, Hen Hill looks different, so it is also named Eagle Rock(Chinese: 牙鷹石) or Toad Rock(Chinese: 蟾蜍石)
Tung Lung Chau doesn’t have any big sandy beach, the beach next to Fat Tong Mun Pier is amongst the biggest.
Since there are not so many people, the water of the beach is crystal clear, some people do sunbathing here.
From the cliff near the Tung Lung Chau Fort, you can enjoy the splendid coastal view, you shouldn’t miss it.
By the way, most of the coast of Tung Lung Chau is rocky and slippery, be careful when you are walking near the sea.
