Sapporo TV Tower (Japanese: さっぽろテレビ塔) is located on the ground of Odori Park (大通公園), Sapporo City (札幌市), Hokkaido, Japan. The tower is 147.2 meters high, Tourists can view Sapporo City and Odori Park from the observation deck.
The elevators of the Sapporo TV Tower are transparent and high-speed, which is very exciting.
There is a piece of floor-to-ceiling glass in one corner of the observation deck. Visitors can stand there to feel the height of the TV tower.

The TV Tower was designed by the Japanese architect Naito Taichu (內藤太中), who planned the Tokyo Tower. It was completed and opened in 1957 with a total cost of 170 million yen.

The ground floor of the Sapporo TV Tower houses an information center and stores. The basement connects to the Aurora Town, an underground shopping arcade.
