Kerala (Malayalam: കേരളം) is a state on the southwestern Malabar Coast of India. The culture of Kerala is composite and cosmopolitan in nature and it is an integral part of Indian culture, Kerala folklore museum is an ideal place for tourists to get a glimpse.
The museum itself is already a relic, the main entrance is decorated by ‘Kerala Gate’, a traditional gate of Kerala’s noble.
Kerala Folklore Museum has various antiques, most of them are over a hundred years old.
Kerala has long been a close trade partner with China, so some of the antiques are Chinese style.
Some of the collections in the museum are over one thousand years old, such as the stone carvings from the Pallava dynasty which existed from 275 CE to 897 CE.
All glass paintings are so exquisite and colorful, one of the must see in the museum.
Although those antiques are priceless, there is almost no protection and guard, only a closed-circuit television at the corner.
