Nijo Market (Japanese: 二条市場) is located in Chuo Ward (中央區), Sapporo City (札幌市), Hokkaido (北海道), Japan. Nijo Market originated from the fish market established in the early Meiji period, and around 1903 it gradually took shape as it is today.
In addition to buying souvenirs, tourists can also eat Hokkaido delicacies at Nijo Market, the market is called "Sapporo people's kitchen".
Like other tourist markets in Japan, most of the seafood shops here have restaurants attached, Choumeizai has visited one of them.
You can taste five kinds of seafood at one time in their signature set meal. The Hokkaido crab legs are very tasty.
The sea urchin here is so fresh, it tastes excellent even without the soy sauce.
The restaurant owner is very friendly, she invites Choumeizai to take photos with the giant crab and even hold the camera for Choumeizai.
