Taihang Mountains (Chinese: 太行山) are a Chinese mountain range running down the eastern edge of the Loess Plateau in Shanxi (山西), Henan (河南) and Hebei （河北) provinces. Heilongtan (黑龍潭) is located in Huguan County (壺關縣) of Shanxi, the scenery in spring is excellent.
Tourists can go into the canyon by the elevated walkway, the walkway is almost 1 kilometer in length, which is built along the riverside.
The wild plum flowers and peach flowers are hanging everywhere, the colors are so vivid that you can feel the liveliness of spring.
There are many ‘scenic spots’ along the walkway, such as ‘Seal rock’ or ‘Dragon head’, but for Choumeizai they are just rocks, nothing special.
From the lookout, you can view the whole canyon, so splendid.
However, the construction of the tourist facilities has polluted the canyon badly, Choumeizai feels so sad.
