Ta Prohm (Khmer: ប្រាសាទតាព្រហ្ម, "Ancestor Brahma") is located in Siem Reap, Cambodia, it is one of the temples in Angkor relics. The trees growing out of the ruins are perhaps the most distinctive feature of Ta Prohm, which also makes the temple a popular tourist attraction.
Ta Prohm is located approximately one kilometre east of Angkor Thom and on the southern edge of the East Baray, early morning is the best time to visit this temple, it is not so crowded and the light looks much better.
Ta Prohm was used as a location in the Hollywood film Tomb Raider, the movie makes Ta Prohm more famous thus attracting more tourists.
Ta Prohm faces to the east, under the morning sunlight, the stones covered with green moss are painted orange, charming and gentle.
Ta Prohm is very big, Choumeizai even cannot know if he is still inside the temple or jungle.
Repair works are everywhere in the temple, the courtyard is filled with scaffolding, countless marked fragments still stay on the ground, the restoration of ancient relics is an endless war.
