The Hollywood Walk of Fame comprises more than 2,690 (until 2020) five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks. The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry.
If you want to visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame, you can take the Metro B Line and get down at Hollywood / Highland Station. Many buskers who dress up as the characters in movies are wandering around the exit of the station.
There are several souvenir shops along the road, selling souvenirs about Hollywood, the ‘Oscar Awards’ are quite interesting, you can even buy a ‘Best Step Mom’ award here.
The Hollywood Sign was originally created in 1923 as a temporary advertisement for a local real estate development, now it has become an American landmark and cultural icon.
Around 10 minutes walk from Hollywood / Highland Station, you can reach Hollywood / Vine Station, there are not many tourists here, but the decorations are beautiful and interesting.
‘Movie’ is the central theme of the station, the ceiling is covered with empty film reels. Choumeizai wonders: Many years later, will anyone know what a film reel is?
