Bagan (Burmese: ပုဂံ) is an ancient city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mandalay Region (မန္တလေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီး) of Myanmar. From the 9th to 13th centuries, Bagan was the capital of the Bagan Kingdom.
There are too many Buddhist temples on the Bagan Plain, some of which lack maintenance and look like ruins.
Lawkaoushaung Temple (လောကော်ဇောင်) is an inconspicuous small Buddhist temple on the Bagan Plain. It looks very new and seems to have been renovated in recent years.
After walking through a narrow staircase, there is a viewing platform, many tourists are already waiting for the sunset.
The architecture of Lawkaoushaung Temple has nothing special, but it is an ideal place for enjoying the sunset.
The viewing platform is not very high, but the field of vision is unexpectedly wide, and you can see the scenery of most of the Bagan plain.
The surrounding temples were baked into different degrees of red by the setting sun, and the ground was a bit misty, looking mysterious.
A little girl is guarding the entrance of the temple. Once tourists come down from the viewing platform, she will rush to sell the trinkets made by themselves.
