Pamirs is a desolate place with only very few people lived here, the natural scenery is amazing, Baishahu(白沙湖, white sand lake) owns snow mountains, dessert and lake in one scenery, is deemed to be the spectacle of Pamirs.
There is no industrial pollution in this area, so the water of the lake is extremely clean and clear, blue as sapphire.
Because of the action of the wind and sand, some of the surrounding mountains have been eroded to white sand long ago, then become countless white sandy hills.
The white sand looks interesting, but the color is not vivid, if there is no snow mountain as background, the scenery won't be that great.
To remind you, if you want to take good photos, you better stand higher and afar from the lake.
