Mount Siguniang (Chinese: 四姑娘山) is located in Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture (阿壩藏族羌族自治州), Sichuan (四川) Province, China. Shuangqiao Valley (雙橋溝) is part of Mount Siguniang, Choumeizai will talk about Longzhu Cuo (隆珠措) and Sapodilla Plateau (人參果坪) here.
‘Cuo’ in Tibetan means lake. Longzhu Cuo is quite dry in autumn, and looks like a swamp.
There are not so many tourists around Longzhu Cuo, the atmosphere here is peaceful, an ideal place for meditation.
Sapodilla Plateau is not too far from Longzhu Cuo, it is a big meadow with a splendid view of snow mountains.
When spring comes, different wild flowers are going to blossom and this meadow is like a basket of flowers, the scenery is even better than in autumn.
Mount Siguniang is renowned for its beauty. Mount Siguniang National Park was identified as a UNESCO Heritage Site as part of Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries in 2006.
The yaks here are huge, but they are quite timid, they move away when Choumeizai gets close.
If you have time, it is good to picnic on Sapodilla Plateau, enjoy the beauty and purity of Mount Siguniang.
