Tsurugaoka Hachimangū (Japanese: 鶴岡八幡宮) is the most important Shinto shrine in the city of Kamakura (鎌倉), Japan. The shrine is a cultural center of Kamakura and serves as the venue of many of its most important festivals.
In early April, the Sakura (cherry blossoms) in Tsurugaoka Hachimangū are in full bloom, and the ocean of pink flowers can be seen far outside.
There are many Sakura by the Genji Pond (源氏池) of Tsuruoka Hachimangu, and the water is covered with pink flower petals, which is beautiful and romantic.
The sky is a bit gloomy today, but the scenery is still excellent, just a bit sad.
In Japanese religion, Hachiman (八幡神) is the syncretic divinity of archery and war, incorporating elements from both Shinto and Buddhism.
Next to the shrine is an elementary school, and there is a very beautiful Sakura tunnel within the school.
In fact, Japan has a lot of hidden beauty, which can only be discovered by accident.
