Mangshan (Chinese: 莽山) is a national park located in the south of Chenzhou (郴州) Hunan (湖南), China. Mangshan is the biggest national park in southern China and Hunan, it still preserves around 6,000 square kilometers of forest.
Tiantaishan (天臺山) is one of the tourist attractions in Mangshan. In winter, the water in the mud has been frozen to countless small ice pillars, which look so interesting.
There is a Guanyin temple enroute, the temple is just normal, but the contrast made by the shadows and icy ground looks beautiful.
At the end of the trail there are several lookouts, since the lookouts are all in high positions, you can enjoy the splendid panoramic view.
Choumeizai is so lucky, at the time of visiting, the mountains are covered by mist, looks like a fairyland.
The steps are covered by frost, so it is very slippery, be careful.
