Lombok is an island in West Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. Senggigi Beach, stretching out along several kilometers at the west coast of Lombok, used to be the main tourist strip of the island. Senggigi Beach is known for its beautiful scenery, especially the sunset.

The sand on Senggigi Beach is all grey because it has been ‘scorched’ by the volcanoes of the island.
There are some hawkers on the beach, selling some ornaments made of volcanic stones. The price is not expensive, it is a good souvenir.

The purple-blue sea water and the orange-red sky complement each other, creating an endless gentle poetry. Lombok is definitely a good place to watch the sea.
