Roman Forum (Latin: Forum Romanum) is located in Rome of Italy, it is a rectangular forum (plaza) surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings at the center of the city of Rome.
Arch of Titus (Arcus Titi) is a 1st-century AD honorific arch, located on the Via Sacra, south-east of the Roman Forum. It was constructed in c. 81 AD by the Emperor Domitian to commemorate the victory of his older brother Titus over the Jewish rebellion in Judaea.
The arch contains panels depicting the triumphal procession celebrated in 71 AD after the Roman victory culminating in the fall of Jerusalem, It became a symbol of the Jewish diaspora, and the menorah depicted on the arch used as the emblem of the state of Israel.
Temple of Venus and Roma (Templum Veneris et Romae) is thought to have been the largest temple in Ancient Rome, it was dedicated to the goddesses Venus Felix (Venus the Bringer of Good Fortune) and Roma Aeterna (Eternal Rome).
The construction of the temple began in 121 and finished in 141, but then damaged by fire in 307, it was restored with alterations by the emperor Maxentius.
Basilica of Maxentius (Basilica Maxentii) sometimes known as the Basilica Nova (new basilica), was the largest building in the Forum, and the last Roman basilica built in the city.
Construction began on the northern side of the forum under the emperor Maxentius in 308 AD, and was completed in 312 by Constantine I after his defeat of Maxentius at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge.
