Niseko (Japanese: ニセコ) is a town located in Shiribeshi Subprefecture (虻田郡), Hokkaido, Japan. Niseko refers to a wider area of ski resorts encompassing Hokkaido's Mount Yotei (羊蹄山), Choumeizai will share some photos taken in the ski resort here.

There is a huge birch forest in the Niseko Ski Resort. All leaves are scattered in winter, and the entire forest is left with bare branches only. The forest looks like a skeleton party, beautiful but spooky.
The daytime in winter is short. The sun starts to set at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, the contrast between black and white becomes more obvious.
