Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon (Chinese: 雅魯藏布大峽谷) is located in the southeast of Tibet. It is about 504 kilometers long and 6009 meters deep. It is known as the deepest and largest canyon in the world.
There is only one restaurant in the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon Scenic Area, which serves Chinese buffet only. There are not many food choices but the taste is good.
Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is close to the Sino-Indian border, so tourists are strictly restricted. During the whole journey, tourists must take the same tourist bus and cannot leave the team.
Although Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is a restricted area, there are still many Tibetans living here. The tourist bus has a fixed route, and there are several parking spots on the way for tourists to get off and take pictures.
One of the scenic spots is a thousand-year-old peach tree that is very worshiped by the locals. Unfortunately, when Choumeizai visited, all the peach blossoms fell, leaving only bare branches.
There is a so-called "Love Square" opposite the thousand-year-old peach tree, which ruins the already beautiful natural environment around it.
Near the thousand-year-old peach tree is another peach blossom tree. It is said that this peach blossom tree grew out of the cracks of a big rock, so the local people regard it as a symbol of "love is stronger than rock".
The locals believe that if you walk around the rock clockwise, it will bring you love.
