Cheung Chau (Chinese: 長洲) is an island 10 kilometers southwest of Hong Kong Island. There are many tourist attractions in Cheung Chau. Pak Tso Wan (白鰽灣) is located at the eastern part of the South Island of Cheung Chau, a good place to enjoy the tranquility.
Pak Tso Wan is near the famous Islands Reclining Rock (五行石) and Cheung Po Tsai Cave (張保仔洞) in Cheung Chau, but it is rarely visited by tourists.
Pak Tso Wan is not a government-managed beach, so there are no lifeguards on duty, and those with poor swimming skills should pay attention to their own safety.
Although Pak Tso Wan is small, since there are not many people, the beach is fresh and clean. The sea water is very clear, but the sand is quite rough.
Besides passing through Islands Reclining Rock and Cheung Po Tsai Cave, you can also go to Pak Tso Wan through Cheung Chau Peak Road (長洲山頂道).
If you take the Cheung Chau Peak Road, you will pass by the Cheung Chau Cemetery. An ideal place to enjoy the sea view.
