Midui Glacier (Chinese: 米堆冰川) is located in Yupu Town (玉普鄉), Nyingchi City (林芝市), Tibet. The glacier is an alpine glacier formed by the confluence of two ice waterfalls, regarded as one of the most beautiful glaciers in China.
There are two roads to the observation deck of Midui Glacier, one is a hiking trail, and the other is a horse trail. The horse trail is relatively short, but you have to pay and ride a horse.
The hiking trail is a little bit longer, and it takes about 30 minutes to reach the viewing platform of the glacier.
Since the altitude here is very high, Choumeizai slows down to prevent altitude sickness.
Country ponies, wild trees, farmers and old cattle, beautiful scenery is everywhere along the way.
The tourist facilities in the scenic area are much better than expected, you can find clean toilets next to the trail.
There are many stone piles near the end of the trail, another beautiful scenery besides the glacier.
