Luang Phabang (Lao: ຫລວງພະບາງ/ຫຼວງພະບາງ) is a city in north central Laos, it was listed in 1995 for well preserved architectural, religious and cultural heritage. Besides the relics, the night market outside Wat May (ວັດໃໝ່ສຸວັນນະພູມາ) is also a must-visit for tourists.
The night market is one of the major attractions in Luang Phabang, the road outside Wat May will be turned into a market every evening.
Most of the souvenirs sold here are handicrafts made by locals, Choumeizai buys one paperweight which is made of seed.
There are many food stalls in the night market, the food here is cheap and delicious, it just looks a bit dirty.
The food stalls are crowded with people, most of them are tourists.
Choumeizai likes barbecue, so he orders a big fish and some chicken legs, so yummy.
