Seiganto-ji (Japanese: 青岸渡寺) is a Tendai (天台) Buddhist temple located in Nachikatsuura (那智勝浦町), Higashimuro (東牟婁郡) District, Wakayama (和歌山) Prefecture, Japan. Sanjūdō Pagoda is part of Seiganto-ji, an ideal place to view the famous Nachi Falls (那智滝).
Sanjūdō Pagoda is 25 meters high, you need to pay if you want to go in.
The top floor of Sanjūdō Pagoda is a lookout, you can enjoy the magnificent scenery of Nachi Falls and the surrounding forest.
Sanjūdō Pagoda we see nowadays is a replica constructed in 1972, so it is not surprising to see an elevator inside the pagoda.
