Udaipur (Hindi: उदयपुर) is a city in the state of Rajasthan (राजस्थान), India. It is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar (मेवाड़). Udaipur earns the name of ‘City of Lakes’ because of Lake Pichola (पिछोला झील), which is the major tourist attraction of Udaipur.
Lake Pichola is an artificial freshwater lake, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi village.
The lake's surroundings and the several islands within the lake have been developed over the centuries, with palaces, marble temples, family mansions or bathing ghats.
The hotel where Choumeizai lives is right on the shore of Lake Pichola. Guests can enjoy the food of the hotel while admiring the scenery of Lake Pichola.
After nightfall, all buildings on the lakeside light up, the water surface is rippling with beautiful light, gorgeous and illusory.
The dusk of Lake Pichola is beautiful, but the scenery in the early morning is also not to be missed. After a sound sleep, the lake looks particularly quiet and gentle.
The light is particularly soft at dusk and early morning, which is the best time to take pictures.
The hotel's breakfast is ordinary, but when you see such a beautiful lake, everything you eat will taste delicious, right?
