Brunei is a rich country located on the north coast of the island of Borneo, it is a popular diving paradise and main oil producing country in Southeast Asia, so besides shipwrecks, it also had some abandoned oil rigs underwater.
The metal structure of the oil rig looks like a giant spider, scary but splendid. It is made up of a number of decommissioned oil rigs that were sunk back in the 90’s to create an artificial reef, as part of a preservation program.
The ‘legs’ of the ‘spider’ are stuck with colorful corals, which creates countless ideal residences for marine life. Choumeizai feels like swimming in an aquarium, so interesting.
After exploring the seabed, Choumeizai goes up a little bit and swims between the ‘spider legs’.
Choumeizai gets cut on his palm while he is taking the video, divers need to be careful since there are many barriers with sharp edges in the surroundings.
Although the depth is only 20 meters, there are many barriers, it is easy to get lost if you won’t follow your dive master.
