Kanbula (Chinese: 坎布拉)National Geological Park is located at Jainca County (尖札縣), Huangnan Prefecture (黃南州), Qinghai (青海), China. It is right next to the Lijiaxia Reservoir (李家峽水庫), around 130 km from Xining(西寧), the scenery inside is beautiful.
Since the area of the park is very big, all tourists need to take the shuttle bus for sightseeing. There are several lookouts inside the park, which allow tourists to overlook the Lijiaxia Reservoir.
Today is sunny, so the Lijiaxia Reservoir is bluer than blue, looks like a huge sapphire embedded on the ground.
On the way you can see a few Tibetan villages, the Tibetan people in Qinghai are different from those in Tibet, most of them earn their livings by farming instead of herding.
The traditional houses of Tibetan people are also different from the houses of Chinese, which look like a concrete cube.
July is the spring of Qinghai, you can see the canola fields everywhere, the yellow is incredibly sharp and fascinating.
The traveling time of the bus route is almost three hours, but you have only accessed a small part of the whole Kanbula National Geological Park, so the park is much bigger than your imagination.
