Little Tokyo (Japanese: リトル・トーキョー) is located in downtown Los Angeles, it is the largest and most populous of three official Japantowns in the United States. Choumeizai has visited one of the Japanese restaurants in Little Tokyo and tried some American style Japanese food.
Choumeizai orders a dinner set, the appetizer is avocado hand roll, not so ‘Japanese’ but still delicious.
The main course is a huge bento box, it looks extremely attractive but the foods taste just so-so, and most of the foods are deep fried, not so healthy.
Even weirder, the bento box has American fried chicken and Chinese spring rolls, not Japanese but the style of the United Nations.
The portion of the set is big, so Choumeuzai brings the leftovers back to the hotel.
