Labrang Monastery (Tibetan: བླ་བྲང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་འཁྱིལ་) is located in Xiahe (Chinese: 夏河) County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (甘南藏族自治州), Gansu (甘肅), China. The monastery looks very splendid, but a hill next to it is also worth seeing.
There are some Buddhist constructions around the hill, so this area probably is the annex of Labrang Monastery, but it is far less touristy than the monastery.
Most of the people who come here are Tibetan pilgrims, almost no tourist, so the atmosphere is sacred and solemn.
Behind the big white pagoda there is a small hill, from the top of the hill you can overlook the monastery and the town, nice view.
Choumaizai meets a young monk downhill, he is curious about the camera, so Choumeizai takes a photo with him, although his posture is quite stiff, his smile is incredibly beautiful.
