There are many Karen (Burmese: ကရင်) villages in this area. Karen is an ethnolinguistic group of Sino-Tibetan language–speaking peoples.
Besides rice and vegetables, Mae Wang is also rich in timber, and some timber is even exported to other countries.
There is a natural mountain spring in the field. The spring water is extremely clear, but it is quite muddy around the spring, not suitable for drinking.
When the father buffalo sees Choumeizai from a distance, it runs away immediately and leaves its wife and kid.
All villagers work in the fields in the daytime, so there is no one in the village, just a few dogs left outside the houses.
