Philippines has plenty of beautiful natural sceneries, it is also deemed to be a paradise of scuba diving, unfortunately the Manila Airport in its capital is awful, every time Choumeizai arrives or passes by, he always encounters some unexpected troubles.
Although Manila Airport alleges that they have 'renovated' some of their terminals, but they still looks shabby, all immigration counters are operated manually which is low in efficiency, even worse than some so-called 'backward countries' such as Cambodia or Vietnam, what happens to Philippines?
More horrible, if you want to leave Manila Airport, taking a flight is easier than walking.
Of course it has a taxi station outside the airport, the line is endlessly long but still no taxi. Choumeizai has asked one of the people in line, he says he has been waiting for two hours, but the line seems not moving.
How about leaving here on foot? The airport is enclosed by fences like a prison, no way out.
Fortunately a local tells Choumeizai that he can take a shuttle bus to go to another little town first, then get a taxi to go back to Manila downtown. However, the schedule of the shuttle is not frequent, Choumeizai needs to wait for a long time.
It takes one hour to go to a little town named 'Baclaran' due to traffic, Choumaizai finally can get a taxi around the bus terminal, thank god!
The normal travel time should be 20 minutes only, but actually it takes over 4 hours, even longer than the flight from Manila to Hong Kong, Choumeizai swears he will never come back to such a horrible airport if not necessary.
