Hawa Mahal (English translation: The Palace of Breeze) was built in 1799, it is the landmark of Jaipur, India. The appearance of Hawa Mahal is elegant and beautiful, which looks like a dressed up princess, both view in the daytime and nighttime are both wonderful.
Hawa Mahal sits on the edge of the City Palace, Jaipur, and extends to the Zenana, or women's chambers. The palace has five floors with 953 small windows called Jharokhas, it is made with red and pink sandstone, decorated and intricate.
The small windows are delicately designed, so the imperial concubines can see the street from inside but not to be seen from the outside, the window functions like the veil of the Islamic woman.
The traffic is so busy outside Hawa Mahal, it is quite difficult to get some good shots. On the other hand, the opposite of Hawa Mahal is a market, crowded and bustling, be careful of the pickpockets, keep your wallet safe.
