Dangling (Chinese: 黨嶺) is located in Danba (Tibetan: རོང་བྲག།) county, Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (དཀར་མཛེས་བོད་རིགས་རང་སྐྱོང་ཁུལ།) in western Sichuan (四川) Province, China. Dangling is famous for the beauty of mountains and lakes, Choumeizai will talk about Feijiping (飛機坪).
Dangling is a mountain area, it is not easy to have a large flat grassland such as Feijiping, so Feijiping becomes an ideal place for local people to graze.
Feijiping, literally means ‘aircraft pad’ in Chinese, was used as a helipad for a helicopter in the past, hence the name.
The locals will leave cattle and sheep on Feijiping before winter, then bring them back in spring.
Dangling is over 3500 meters above sea level, to avoid altitude sickness, move slowly.
There is a small campsite on Feijiping, which provides simple residence for tourists who want to see the sunrise.
Dangling is 68 northwest to Danba Town, it is named after a village called Dangling, which refers to the lakes, mountains and hot springs around the village.
Overlooking from the height, Feijiping looks like a piece of emerald jade, the more you look at it, the more fascinating it is.
