Cradle Mountain is a mountain in the Central Highlands region of the Australian state of Tasmania, the mountain is situated in the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Cradle Mountain is named after its resemblance to a gold-mining cradle (rocker box).
The weather in Cradle Mountain is unpredictable, the crystal clear sky is wiped off by the grey cloud and hails suddenly.
After 10 minutes, the hailstorm stops abruptly. Sometimes, Mother Nature is as emotional as a little girl.
Wombat Pool is one of the cirques in Cradle Mountain, although it is extremely small, the scenery is splendid.
Wombats are short-legged, muscular quadrupedal marsupials that are native to Australia. Unfortunately, Choumeizai only finds some Wombat poop around the Wombat Pool, no Wombat.
Cradle Mountain is 1,545 metres above sea level, it is the sixth-highest mountain in Tasmania and deemed to be one of the most beautiful areas in Australia.
It hails again when Choumeizai is going down, Mother Nature is making a joke with this poor little human being.
Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park is part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. It is one of the largest conservation areas in Australia, covering 15,800 square kilometers, almost 25% of Tasmania.
