Casablanca (Arabic: الدار البيضاء) is located in the central-western part of Morocco bordering the Atlantic Oceanthe. It is Morocco's chief, the largest city of Moroccoport and one of the financial centers in Africa.
The original name of Casablanca was Anfa in Berber language, after the Portuguese took control of the city in the 15th century AD, they rebuilt it and changed the name to Casa Branca, meaning 'white house' in Portuguese, Casablanca is the Spanish version.
Corniche is the promenade that runs along the coast of Casablanca, a good place to take a walk and view the waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
The Port of Casablanca is one of the largest artificial ports in the world, and the second largest port of North Africa.
However, Casablanca is not a tourist city but an industrial city, the only tourist attraction is Hassan II Mosque.
