Casa Vicens is located in the neighbourhood of Gràcia, Barcelona, Spain. It is the early work of architect Antoni Gaudí, which is unique for its multiple architectural styles.
The smoking room is amongst the most representative, the design mixed with a bit Moorish styles, looks so Morocco.
The ceiling of the lounge is classic, it makes you feel like being in a beautiful garden. Casa Vicens has plenty of natural elements, the patterns of plants and animals are everywhere, even the decoration indoors.
The 3rd floor is an exhibition hall, simple but very comfortable, an ideal place to take a break.
Perhaps it is the early work of Guadi, the chimneys are not as ‘shocking’ as those of Casa Mila, but still very colorful, fairytale style.
Many details in Casa Vicens were also designed by Guadi, such as the famous tiles of yellow flowers and the railing of iron roses.
There is a small coffee shop inside Casa Vicens, which is managed by the students of a famous chef named Hoffman.
Chocolate milk is their signature drink, very delicious with reasonable price, must try.
