Bukchondaek (Korean: 북촌댁) is Located in Hahoe-ri (하회마을), Pungcheon-myeon (풍천면), Andong-si (안동시), Gyeongsangbuk-do (경상북도), South Korea. Bukchondaek is a hanok (한옥, traditional Korean house) which is over 200 years old.
Perhaps Bukchondaek has undergone several renovations recently, the house doesn’t look so old.
Since Bukchondaek is an important heritage in Hahoe Village, a towel needs to be put underneath the luggage to avoid any scratch.
The room is not big, but it is clean and tidy, the ventilation is also good.
The owner has prepared a traditional Korean dinner for Choumeizai, different from the common Korean foods, the foods here are not spicy.
The beef soup is excellent, Choumeizai eats it again and again.
The toilets and bathrooms are separated from the rooms, which are modern and clean, not so traditional.
Bukchondaek doesn’t have Wi-Fi, but luckily it is mid autumn festival tonight, the moon is incredibly beautiful, Choumeizai is not so bored.
