Shinjuku Gyo-en (Japanese: 新宿御苑) is located in Shinjuku (新宿), Tokyo, Japan. It is an ideal place for Cherry blossom viewing, but besides cherry flowers, other flowers are also beautiful and worth seeing.
Early spring in March is the best time for viewing plum flowers, when plum blossoms are not as brilliant as cherry blossoms, but clean and elegant, not so many people admire such implicit beauty.

Yulan is native to central and eastern China. Its flowers were regarded as a symbol of purity in the Tang Dynasty and it was planted in the grounds of the Emperor's palace or Buddhist temple gardens.
