Bipenggou (Chinese: 畢棚溝) is an original ecological scenic area located in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture (阿垻藏族羌族自治州), Sichuan (四川) Province, China. Bipenggou is incredibly beautiful , Panyang Lake (盤羊湖) is the most popular scenic spot.
Bipenggou is 200 kilometers away from Chengdu (成都) City, which takes about 4 hours’s drive, so many people living in Chengdu will come here on Saturday and Sunday.
The reflection of Panyang Lake is very beautiful, everyone can be a professional photographer.
Panyang Lake, literally means Argali Lake. Argali (Ovis ammon), also known as the mountain sheep, is a wild sheep that roams the highlands of western East Asia, the Himalayas, Tibet, and the Altai Mountains.
The altitude of Panyang Lake is 3,676 meters, so Choumeizai walks slowly to avoid mountain sickness.
Unfortunately, there is a ugly concrete dam at the end of the lake, a stain on an already perfect nature.
Not far from the dam there is an artificial waterfall, although the waterfall is beautiful, Choumeizai prefers it as a natural waterfall.
Bipenggou is just next to another popular tourist attraction, Mount Siguniang (四姑娘山), many backpackers will walk to Siguniang from Bipenggou.
