Sheung Shui is just next to China, it has encountered drastic changes since 1997. Unexpectedly, there is a Hong Kong style cafe which preserves the atmosphere of old Hong Kong, it seems time has never touched here, which makes this restaurant a nostalgic place for Hong Kong people.
The cafe has so many customers, it is quite crowded. The menu is quite simple, besides pastries, it has one and only one set meal： beef macaroni and egg sandwich with drinks, if you don’t like beef, you can change it to ham macaroni.
Only one bite, Choumeizai has already asserted that, the whole beef macaroni is the memory of childhood, the beef makes the soup rich and tasty, better to put some pepper.
The filling of the egg sandwich is eggy half cooked stir fried egg, soggy and juicy, the ingredients are simple of course, but it will be incredibly delicious if you cook it with your heart.
Although the business of the cafe is good, both waitress and cashier are friendly and smiley, in this small cafe next to the border, not only the Hong Kong style delicacy full of the memory of childhood you can enjoy, but also the gradually fading human warmth.
