There are countless relics in Barcelona of Spain, wandering around aimlessly, it may give you an unexpected surprise. Choumeizai has found an Ancient Rome relic in a back alley which doesn't draw any attention.
Such a hidden gem is situated in Gothic Quarter(Barrio Gótico) of Barcelona, named Templo de Augusto, the location is so remote, if there is no sign on the map, Choumeizai cannot find it.
The relic is free admission, everyone can just walk in. The roof of the temple disappeared a long time ago , with only a few finely crafted columns left at the site, visitors can still form the true colors of the temple by imagination.
The temple was built during the Imperial period of Rome, it stood over 2000 years and was still in a relatively good condition. It is generally considered that the temple is a dedication to Augustus, but still unproven.
More interestingly, the surroundings of the relic is densely populated, in another country, the relic may be demolished, even if it is luckily preserved, it will be occupied by someone who asked for an expensive admission fee.
