Tsingtao Beer Museum (Chinese: 青島啤酒博物館) is located in Qingdao City (青島市), Shandong Province (山東省), China. The museum lies on the old site of the Tsingtao Brewery Company (青島啤酒廠), besides sightseeing, tourists can also try the fresh beer.
There is a small bar in the museum, which makes visitors feel like they are in Germany. Tourists can taste the draft beer brewed here.
Draft beer is beer served from a cask or keg rather than from a bottle or can. Since draft beer is not pasteurized, it is fresher and more refreshing than normal beer.
Visitors can order beer bottles with their own face marked here, very interesting souvenirs.
The museum is the first one of its kind in China, the construction of the museum provides a spectacular showcase for the local beer to oversea visitors, and has become the pride of the local people.
There is a game area in the museum with a number of beer-related mini-games. Among those mini-games, the "Drunk Cabin" is the most interesting. The designer cleverly uses the illusion of vision to create the effect of drunkenness.
There is a restaurant at the exit of the museum that serves barley tea without alcohol. Barley tea is brewed with malt and has a strong aroma of barley.
The restaurant also provides delicious German-style pork knuckle. In addition to pork knuckles, Chinese dishes such as fried clams and stir-fried vegetables are also served here.
