Fenqihu (Chinese: 奮起湖) is a settlement in Zhuqi Township (竹崎鄉), Chiayi County (嘉義縣), Taiwan. Fenqihu is a railway town on the Alishan Forest Railway (阿里山森林鐵道) and is known for their railway bento (鐵路便當), Choumeizai has tried one.
Very lucky, Choumeizai meets the founder of the restaurant at the door of the restaurant, and takes a photo with him.
Bento (Japanese: 弁当) is the Japanese iteration of a single-portion take-out or home-packed meal, often for lunch. Railway Bento is the bento served in the train or railway station.
There is only one kind of railway bento sold in the restaurant, and the price difference depends on the container that holds the food, because guests can take the lunch box home as a souvenir after eating.
If you don't eat meat, the chicken leg in the lunch box will be replaced with a piece of vegetarian fish fillet, so vegetarians don't have to worry.
The food looks ordinary, but it tastes good, and the portion is very large. The bento even comes with bamboo shoots soup.
