Gili Islands (Indonesian: Tiga Gili) are an archipelago located just off the northwest coast of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Scuba diving around Gilis is common, Choumeizai will introduce Shark Point here, one of the popular diving sites of Gili Islands.
Shark Point is close to Gili Trawangan, the largest island of Gili islands. There are a lot of bars on the island, so it is also nicknamed "Party Island".
The current at Shark Point is a bit strong, the first thing Choumeizai sees is the home of clownfishes.
Although it is called Shark Point, there is only one small shark that can be seen since there are too many people.
The little shark is scared by the people and hides in the crevice. Humans are the scariest creatures on earth, not sharks.
Shark Point is one of the famous diving spots in the Gili Islands, but there are too many divers, most of the coral reefs have been destroyed and become gray.
Colorful nudibranchs pop up from time to time, making the gray seabed more lively.
Besides sharks, there are not so many special marine creatures in Shark Point, only this cute trumpet fish.
