Lotus Pond (Chinese: 蓮池潭) is an artificial lake and popular tourist destination on the east side of Zuoying (左營) District in Kaohsiung (高雄), Taiwan. Opened in 1951, it is famous for the lotus plants and the numerous temples around the lake, including Dragon and Tiger Pagodas (龍虎塔).
It was believed that Dragon and Tiger Pagodas were ordered by Baosheng Dadi (保生大帝) to build in 1976. One of the towers is the Tiger Tower, the other one being the Dragon tower.
There are paintings inside both pagodas, depicting Yama (the King of Hell), the Jade Emperor's thirty palaces as well as Confucius.
The dragon and tiger statues are connected by a tunnel, tourists can enter through the mouth of the dragon and exit from the mouth of the tiger.

Dragon and Tiger Pagodas has become one of the most famous landmarks after it finished construction, this building is representative of traditional Kaohsiung culture.
