Launceston is a city in the north of Tasmania state of Australia, it is one of Australia's oldest cities and it has many historic buildings. Besides history and culture, the delicacy of Launceston is also very attractive, Choumeizai highly recommends this restaurant.
All cuisines are cooked by local fresh ingredients. The Tasmania oysters are not big, but very plumpy and juicy, you can taste the freshness of the ocean.
The main course is stone grilled steak. The steak is still raw, you need to grill the meat by the heated slate underneath.
The quality of the meat is excellent, you can decide the rawness of the steak by yourself, Choumeizai prefers medium rare while the meat is still a little bit bloody.
The restaurant will have a menu of ‘Surprise Me’ everyday, which lists out their unique cuisines. Choumeizai choose slow cooked salmon with black rice, the juicy salmon is a perfect match with the sweet and sour black rice, creative and delicious.
This restaurant has a 10% service charge on Sunday. If you want to save some money, visit it on weekdays.
